Thunderstruck is a single cask release from the Auchroisk distillery in Speyside, bottled by independent bottler Uncharted Whisky Company. Distilled in 2017, matured for 7 years in a first-fill ex-Oloroso sherry cask and bottled in 2024. Only 585 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a natural cask strength of 59.1%. (Bottle size 70cl)

Nose: An un-ashamed sherry bomb. Oloroso sherry leaps out the glass chased by the cask strength tingle. Deep sticky toffee, Nutellla, brown sugar, leather and cigar box.

Palate: Mature at first; new leather, Christmas pudding and vanilla ice cream. A touch of water brings the caramel and toffee chocolate box to life.

Finish: Long tingling spice, chocolate and cinnamon Danish pastries.
