The Cairngorm Gin Company was established in 2019 with the release of this signature hand-crafted artisanal gin. Inspired by the diverse flora and fauna of Cairngorms National Park, head distiller and founder Jack Smith uses nine botanicals (juniper berry, cloudberry, elderflower, Caledonian pine, coriander seed, orris root, sweet orange peel, angelica and kaffir lime leaf) and fresh water from the River Spey. During each distillation, the heads and tails are precisely cut to extract only the heart of the spirit, which is left to rest for seven days ensuring a smooth finish and full flavour. Nose: A gentle aroma reminiscent of late Spring offers up fresh pine and gentle suggestions of green lemons integrated with distinctive aromatics of elderflower.

Palate: A delightful combination of crisp ripe apples married with zesty citrus flavours and enhanced by exotic floral notes. This elegant, balanced mouthfeel becomes increasingly complex with the interplay of secondary flavours of fruit and light spice evolving across the palate.

Finish: Refined from start to finish, the classic citrus and juniper flavours combine with increasingly fruity notes and the introduction of more herbaceous and peppery elements, invoking cucumber peel and tomato leaves.
