Together Again is a limited release from the Caol Ila distillery on Islay, by independent bottler Simply Whisky as part of their Simon range. Its name was inspired by the notion that whisky brings us together, and it’s all about the moments and the people you share it with. Distilled on 11 December 2008, matured for 15 years, initially in a refill ex-bourbon cask before being finished in a first-fill ex-rye barrel for 13 months, and bottled on 3 July 2024. Only 141 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 53.5%. (Bottle size 70cl)

Nose: Lime, coal smoke, vanilla and a dungarees buckle. Rich spice, tartar sauce and cooked meat. Polished gold under autumnal leaves.

Palate: Lemon, rye spice, BBQ brisket and leather.

Finish: Good length with strawberry jam, orange peel, peppercorn spice and burnt staves.
