Released in 2014 when current owners, Bacardi (who own John Dewar & Sons), re-launched the brand with three core expressions, a 13yo, a 17yo and a 23yo. Matured for 23 years in a combination of first-fill ex-bourbon and first-fill ex-sherry casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 70cl)

Nose: Malty sweetness and a fresh tropical fruit note begin this sensory journey with elements of citrus and toasted oak.

Palate: Vanilla and spicy cinnamon emerge, invigorated with a zing of menthol freshness. And pineapples, this time over a campfire!

Finish: A long lingering sweet spicy finish leaves a pleasing impression.
