A limited-edition single malt launched as part of the newly packaged Wood Collection series from the GlenAllachie distillery in Speyside. Dubbed the Sherry Series, each expression spent an initial period in American oak ex-bourbon barrels before being transferred to one of three selected sherry casks. This 9yo release was finished in ex-Fino sherry casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48%. (Bottle size 70cl)

Nose: Nutmeg, heather honey and vanilla extract, with butterscotch, green apple peel, stone fruits and roasted almonds.

Palate: Dried apricots, honeycomb and butterscotch, followed by baking spices, marzipan and caramel.

Finish: Orchard fruits and citrus on the finish.
