Launched in 2021, Lindores Abbey MCDXCIV is the first commercially available whisky from the Lindores Abbey distillery, which is recognized as the site of the first recorded distillation of Scotch whisky in 1494 (MCDXCIV). Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, and STR (shaved, toasted, and recharred) ex-burgundy red wine casks. Bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 70cl)

Nose: Elegant, soft, mellow vanilla, caramel notes playing with orchard fruits and sweet pear drops. Reminiscent of toffee apples!

Palate: Smooth with a creamy texture and a perfect balance of mellow vanilla, dried fruits, citrus touches with a hint of spice.

Finish: Medium length, delicate but lingering finish.
