DESCRIPTION

Initially released in 2008, this heavily-peated spirit from the Springbank distillery joined the core range as a limited annual release in 2010. This 2024 edition was matured for at least 18 years in a combination of ex-sherry (90%) and ex-port (10%) casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 70cl)

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Notes of blackberry jam, walnuts, liquorice and a subtle smokiness on the nose.

Palate: The peat smoke continues on the palate and notes of black forest gateaux, maraschino cherries, dates and dark chocolate ganache are introduced.

Finish: A long, gentle finish, there are notes of coffee beans, sea salt and peat smoke.
