Released in late-2023, Meikle Toir (meaning big pursuit) is a range of peated whisky produced at the GlenAllachie distillery under the guidance of master distiller, Billy Walker. Produced with mainland peat from St. Fergus, The Sherry One 5yo is matured initially in American oak ex-bourbon barrels and finished in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48%. (Bottle size 70cl)

Nose: Cedarwood, cigar box, butterscotch and mocha, with orange peel, honey and plum jam.

Palate: Dark chocolate, smoked honey and mocha, with figs, treacle, burnt sugar and puffs of peat smoke.

Finish: Mocha and dark fruit.
