Released in 2005, Old Ballantruan Smokey Original is a peated single malt produced at the Tomintoul distillery in Speyside. Crafted from heavily peated barley and matured in ex-bourbon casks. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 50%. (Bottle size 70cl)

Nose: Heathery smoke balanced with subtle floral notes.

Palate: Gentle “peat-reek” flavours with hints of citrus tones and malty nuttiness.

Finish: Lingering smoke and peat with a touch of malted barley sweetness.
