A single cask release from the Royal Brackla distillery in the Highlands, bottled by independent bottler Thompson Bros. Distilled on 7 March 2011, matured for 13 years in a refill butt and bottled in March 2024. 727 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48.5%. (Bottle size 70cl)

Nose: Pine needles and peppery, nicely resinous with notes of Brackla. Liquorice, a delicious pint of Weihenstephaner (German beer), fennel seed, curry (broadly speaking), cereal bars.

Palate: Lemons and green apples with kiwi and peppery spice. Fermenting cider.

Finish: Triple sec (maybe double sec) and pastry.
