DESCRIPTION

A limited release from Ardnamurchan composed of 58% unpeated and 42% peated spirit. Distilled in 2016 and 2017, matured in 28 ex-bourbon barrels, then finished for 2.5 years in Jamaican rum casks. 8,334 bottles produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 55%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Lemon Italian ice, overripe apricot, dusty hay, heavily salted cashew, vanilla extract, dried banana – fruit-forward but still earthy and rich.

Palate: Candied grapefruit, stracciatella ice cream, red cedar, Kaiserschmarrn, Nerds candy, guava, buttercream icing.

Finish: A medium-long finish.
