DESCRIPTION

A limited edition release from the Arran distillery on the Isle of Arran, produced using locally grown Optic barley from a local farm. Matured for 10 years in a combination of 1st-fill bourbon barrels and 2nd-fill sherry hogsheads, released as a small annual batch with each edition varying by crop and cask. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 50%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Fresh herbs, light citrus, medium sweetness and vanilla, with aniseed.

Palate: Spicy and biscuity with ginger, oak and vanilla. Citrus notes and a complex oily viscosity amplify the fruit.

Finish: Medium and dry, with citrus and ginger lingering alongside aniseed.
