DESCRIPTION

A small batch release from the Clynelish distillery in the Highlands, bottled by independent bottler James Eadie. Matured for 12 years in two re-charred hogsheads and bottled in 2026. The label artwork pays homage to The Distilleries of Great Britain and Ireland from the 1920s, a series of works largely forgotten for 100 years until the team at James Eadie discovered and had them reprinted. 496 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 52.5%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Candle wax, sea salt, toffee, custard, threshed barley and stewed apples.

Palate: Waxy, chewy, thick, starting with toffee, honeycomb, before being joined with barley wine, mango and golden syrup.

Finish: Ripe mango and fresh, tart physalis fruit.
