DESCRIPTION
A single cask release from the GlenAllachie distillery in Speyside, released under their heavily-peated Meikle Toir label. Distilled on 10 September 2021, matured for 4 years in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead and bottled in April 2026. Only 350 bottles produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 64.5%. (Bottle size 70cl)
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Smoked Orchard fruits, raisins and grilled honeycomb with caramelised muscovado sugar, maraschino cherries, and mocha
Palate: Molasses tart, cocoa and sweet espresso followed by manuka honey, barbecued stone fruits and spiced orange, with caramelised baking spices.
Finish: Long with smoked dark chocolate and dried raisin lingering alongside muscovado sugar and a gentle fade of peat ash.
