DESCRIPTION

A limited edition from the Ardnahoe distillery on Islay, composed to the personal specifications of founder and chairman Stewart Laing, and released as his final selection following his death in April 2026. Matured for 6 years, predominantly in first-fill sherry casks alongside bourbon casks, using Ardnahoe's most heavily peated spirit to date. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 60.2%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Peat smoke leads on the nose, drifting in with coastal salt and rich cacao.

Palate: Smoke with earthy, smouldering intensity, alongside notes of lemon curd, honeyed malt and stewed plums. 

Finish: Long and drying, driven by ashy peat embers, cracked black pepper and a touch of salted toffee.
