Lochlea Ploughing Edition (First Crop) is a limited-edition seasonal release from the Lochlea distillery in the Lowlands inspired by the winter season, a time when the soil is turned in preparation for the next barley sowing. Matured in a combination of ex-Islay barrels and peated quarter casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 70cl)

Nose: Signature Lochlea cereal, fresh green apple.

Palate: Succulent fruit, freshly cut summer hay.

Finish: Sea salt, lingering peat embers.
