DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Deanston distillery in the Highlands, bottled by Cut Your Wolf Loose, a Brighton-based independent bottler who commissions a different artist for every label. Distilled on 30 August 2012, matured in refill bourbon hogsheads with a finish in a Moscatel Port pipe, and bottled on 18 November 2024. Only 550 bottles produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 55.8%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Bready and bright, with ginger heat and a squeeze of orange peel.

Palate: Warming and rounded. Baking spices, candied ginger and a honeyed waxiness, with Moscatel sweetness in the background.

Finish: Medium to long. Sweet oak and a gentle kick of pepper.
