DESCRIPTION
Our first exclusive release from the Benromach distillery in Speyside! This lightly peated official bottling was distilled on 25 April 2014, matured for 11 years in a single first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead, and bottled on 28 August 2025. Only 299 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 59.8%.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Rich aromas of caramelised sugar and strawberry jam, followed by stewed plums, Seville orange and toffee sauce. Hints of molasses, toasted orange peel and gentle bonfire smoke emerge with time.
Palate: Sweet red apple and cinnamon crumble layered with burnt orange marmalade, stem ginger and a touch of dark chocolate. Balanced by soft smoke and a drying finish with lingering autumnal spice.
Finish: Long and warming with fading spice, oak char and traces of orange zest and cocoa, leaving a softly smoky, fruity aftertaste.
