DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Blair Athol distillery in the Highlands, bottled by Hunter Laing as part of their Old Malt Cask series. Distilled in June 2011 and matured for 11 years in a sherry butt before bottling. Only 359 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 50%. OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Fresh flowers, lemon and maple syrup.

Palate: Toasted almonds, caramel and red berries.

Finish: Long and lingering sweetness.
