DESCRIPTION

A blended Scotch from the Borders distillery in Hawick, released as the third instalment in their Workshop Series. Produced entirely at the distillery, it combines 75% single malt and 25% single grain rye whisky, both double distilled in pot stills on site. Matured in a combination of casks: the single malts in red wine and 1st-fill ex-bourbon casks, and the rye in Cognac casks. Bottled at 40%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Tinned peaches, vanilla fudge and fig.

Palate: Red apple pie and caramel.

Finish: Creamy and warming.
