DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Braeval distillery in Speyside, bottled by Hunter Laing as part of their Old Malt Cask series. Distilled in April 2009 and matured for 14 years in a refill butt before bottling. Only 577 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 50%. (Bottle size 70cl)

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Salted caramel, citrus fruits and fresh hay.

Palate: Nutmeg, vanilla sponge and sultanas.

Finish: Long with a slight savouriness.
