DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Craigellachie distillery in Speyside, by independent bottler Gordon & Macphail in their Connoisseur's Choice range. Distilled in 2007, matured for 16 years in a refill sherry puncheon and bottled 27 August 2024. Only 604 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 64.5%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Red stewed berry aromas are followed by ginger spice and pressed apple.

Palate: Blackcurrant flavours combine with demerara sugar and clementine.

Finish: A full finish with charred oak and dark forest fruit.
