DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Craigellachie distillery in Speyside, bottled by Hunter Laing as part of their Old Malt Cask series, released to commemorate the launch of the Ardnahoe single malt. Distilled in April 2007 and matured for 16 years in an ex-sherry butt before bottling. Only 322 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 50%. OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Honey roast ham, dried fruits, caramel.

Palate: Ginger nut biscuits, dark chocolate with a hint of lemon.

Finish: Long and fruity with a pleasant meatiness.
