DESCRIPTION

A small batch release from the Dufftown distillery in Speyside, bottled by independent bottler James Eadie. Matured for 13 years in two first-fill bourbon barrels and bottled in 2026. The label artwork pays homage to The Distilleries of Great Britain and Ireland from the 1920s, a series of works largely forgotten for 100 years until the team at James Eadie discovered and had them reprinted. 530 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 52.3%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Creme de cassis, toasted walnuts, Williams pears, almond butter and fresh peppermint.

Palate: Very similar to the nose, with lots of blackcurrants, marzipan, salted butter, freshly baked bread, apricot jam, hint quince.

Finish: Soft and delicate, poised between tart starfruit and rich crème fraiche.
