DESCRIPTION

A peated core range release from the Glasgow Distillery in the Lowlands, in their Signature Range. Crafted from British malted barley peated to 50ppm with heather-rich peat sourced from the Scottish Highlands. Matured in virgin American white oak casks and finished for 8 to 12 months in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 46%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Sweet smoke and rich toffee with notes of vibrant vanilla, dried dark fruits and cracked black peppercorn spice with subtle hints of flamed orange.

Palate: Tobacco leaf, rich dark toffee and cacao nibs on a background of sweet soft peat and gentle earthy undertones with subtle herbaceous notes of sage.

Finish: Long and smooth with notes of salted caramel, liquorice, and lingering spice.
