DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Glen Elgin distillery in Speyside, bottled by independent bottler Berry Bros. & Rudd, a British wine and spirits merchant that dates back over 300 years to 1698, as part of their Glens & Valleys collection. Distilled in 2012 and matured for 11 years in a single hogshead before bottling. Only 502 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 59%. OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: The nose opens with white sugars sprinkled atop warm, homemade shortbread.

Palate: Tasting reveals a note of green apple and pear, adding a crisp edge to the creamy texture.

Finish: A medium finish, where the initial sweetness gently recedes, leaving behind a hint of floral honey.
