DESCRIPTION

A limited edition UK exclusive from the GlenAllachie distillery in Speyside, in their Wood Collection series. This 12 year old is fully matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in Sauternes wine hogsheads, made from the Bordeaux region’s rare white grape. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Honeyed citrus and vanilla, with layers of apricot, white peach and a hint of marzipan.

Palate: Soft and rounded, with orchard fruits, crème brûlée, and subtle floral tones balanced by gentle oak.

Finish: Medium length, with lingering sweetness, a touch of stone fruit and gentle spice.
