DESCRIPTION

Launched in 2025, the third edition of the Isle of Raasay distillery's cask strength single malt. Crafted using the distillery's unique six-cask recipe created by Master Distiller, Alasdair Day: peated and unpeated spirit are matured separately in rye whiskey, virgin Chinkapin oak and Bordeaux red wine casks. These six cask types are then married together to create the release. 5,500 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 61.6%. (Bottle size 70cl)

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Wood smoke, apricots, candied fruit, glace cherries.

Palate: Sweet spice, cinnamon, black pepper, blackcurrant, wood smoke, heather, honey, salted caramel, black cherry and sweet and salted popcorn.

Finish: Dry, hint of saltiness, faint wood smoke and dried fruit.
