DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Mortlach distillery in Speyside, bottled by Hunter Laing as part of their Old Malt Cask series. Distilled in July 2010, matured for 14 years in a canasta sherry butt and bottled in November 2024. Only 326 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 50%. (Bottle size 70cl)

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Sea spray, wood polish, and toffee.

Palate: Dark chocolate, red berries, and oak.

Finish: Long, with lingering pepper and spice.
