Launched in 2016 as a permanent addition to the Tomintoul distillery's core range, Tlàth (pronounced T-lah) means gentle and mellow in Gaelic, a description said to complement Tomintoul’s positioning as 'the gentle dram'. Whiskies of various ages are hand selected by Master Distiller, Robert Fleming, and matured exclusively in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. Bottled at 40%. (Bottle size 70cl)

Nose: Soft and sweet with aromas of shortbread biscuits, flaked almonds, honey and vanilla pod.

Palate: Creamy and nutty with notes of butter pastry, stewed apple, almond fingers and hints of cinnamon powder.

Finish: Gently spiced with layers of roast hazelnut, cocoa powder and oat biscuit.
