DESCRIPTION

The second core expression from the Ardnahoe distillery on Islay, taking its name from the nearby Bholsa caves. Matured predominantly in Oloroso sherry casks, and peated to around 40ppm. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 50%. (Bottle size 70cl)

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Red fruits, walnuts, orange zest and peat smoke on the nose.

Palate: Raisins, dates and ripe plums on the palate underpinned by Islay peat.

Finish: A long, peppery finish.
