DESCRIPTION

A cask strength, small batch release from the Ardnahoe distillery on Islay. Batch 2 is matured for 5 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. Non-chillfiltered, natural colour, and bottled at a cask strength of 61%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Peat smoke and maritime salinity, with citrus peel, vanilla, and light oak influence.

Palate: Sweet malt balanced by dark fruits, warming spice, and developing smoke.

Finish: Long and smoky, with lingering iodine, charred wood, and coastal notes.
