DESCRIPTION

Released in 2025, this limited edition follows on from last year’s popular Sauternes Cask Release. Produced from peated spirit distilled in 2018, matured in 29 ex-bourbon casks for three years before being re-racked into ex-Sauternes barriques for an additional three and a half years. This is the first time Ardnamurchan has combined its peated spirit with Sauternes casks. 8,460 bottles produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 50%. TASTING NOTES

NOSE: Lime leaf, lemon balm, shortbread, hay bales, pineapple upside-down cake, desiccated coconut, crème de pêche, stem ginger syrup, pencil shavings, tobacco.

PALATE: Nutmeg, dried ginger, orange blossom water, smoked manuka honey, lemon meringue pie, salted cashews, Tajin seasoning, Creamola foam, Tizer, hickory wood, farmy smoke, earthy depth.

FINISH: Spicy, punchy, and bright, with a luscious, decadent quality.
