DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Macduff distillery in the Highlands, bottled by Artful Dodger. Distilled on 3 October 2011, matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead and bottled on 30 June 2024. Only 456 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 61.3%. (Bottle size 50cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Big oak, mixed berry jam and dairy milk.

Palate: Big sherry blast, all treacle, burnt sugar crust and juicy sultanas.

Finish: Long, rich and warming with lingering dark fruit, sherry-soaked oak and a final hit of sweet spice.
