DESCRIPTION

Launched in 2024 as part of the Classics Range, a carefully curated selection of whiskies designed to showcase the key styles and regions of Scotch whisky, from independent bottler Berry Bros. & Rudd. This small batch release from an undisclosed distillery in Speyside was matured for 16 years in traditional* casks handpicked by spirits curator, Felix Dear. Bottled at 48.2%. (Bottle size 70cl)

*According to BBR: "For us these are casks that have been used for storing and aging Scotch whisky for centuries. They're not the first-fill casks that impart their own wonderful flavours on the spirit like our sherry butts, but rather refill wood that supports the aging process, allowing the true spirit flavors and classic whisky styles to shine through."

TASTING NOTES

Nose: A blend of butterscotch and hazelnut, with subtle hints of dried flowers and wood bark, which introduce a touch of earthiness and complexity.

Palate: A honeyed sweetness creates an effortlessly enjoyable sipping experience, gradually evolving to reveal an ever deepening character.

Finish: A silky finish.
