A limited edition from the Ballindalloch distillery in Speyside, released to mark the launch of crime writer John Sutherland’s novel The Castle, and the distillery’s first lightly peated expression. Distilled in 2015 and matured in a combination of 1st-fill ex-bourbon casks and 2nd-fill casks that previously held peated whisky. 2,400 bottles produced. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at a higher strength of 50%. (Bottle size 70cl)

Each bottle is accompanied by a copy of Sunday Times bestselling thriller author — and former Metropolitan Police hostage and crisis negotiator — John Sutherland's novel of the same name, a murder mystery set on the Ballindalloch Castle estate.
