Part of Diageo's Special Releases for 2023, Spirited Xchange, a collection said to be inspired by the exchange of global craft and culture. Silken Gown is a single malt from the Glendullan distillery in Speyside, matured for 14 years, initially in oak barrels followed by a finishing period in Chardonnay de Bourgogne French oak casks. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 55%. (Bottle size 70cl)

Nose: A mild nose-feel, clean and crisp. Green and fruity, fresh-cut green apple, white grapes and pear. Crème anglaise on puff-pastry with honey.

Palate: Toffee-sweet balanced by a splash of golden yellow fruit acidity and light spiciness. Crisp and clear yet also richly rounded.

Finish: Medium length, finishing spicy, with a lovely smoothness.
