DESCRIPTION

A small batch, triple-distilled release from the Glasgow Distillery in the Lowlands. A vatting of three casks all distilled on 3 February 2018, matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks for 2 years 10 months before being finished in French cognac casks for 2 years 6 months, and bottled on 12 July 2023. 1,576 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher strength of 52%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Red apples and poached pear with soft vanilla ice cream, a dash of runny honey, and a hint of floral sweet smoke.

Palate: Creamy and smooth with notes of toffee apple, poached pear, leading to rich salted caramel and baked apple crumble.

Finish: Elegant and delicate; notes of honeydew melon, lemon zest and apple crumble accompanied by a light oak spice and a welcome wisp of sweet smoke.
