DESCRIPTION

A peated, permanent release from the Glendronach distillery in the Highlands, released in their new Master’s Anthology series that sits alongside their age-statement core range. Matured in a combination of ex-Oloroso and ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48.4%. (Bottle size 70cml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Toasted wood, camp-fire embers, cinnamon-spiced toffee, caramelised walnut brittle and orchard fruit.

Palate: Rich and layered with dark fruit compote, milk chocolate, black pepper, gentle peat smoke and a touch of coastal brine.

Finish: Long and warming, with the smoke deepening, dark chocolate and a subtle salted-nut dryness.
