DESCRIPTION

A highly sought-after and collectible Japanese single malt from the Chichibu distillery. The name Chibidaru* translates to "cute casks" in Japanese, referring to the smaller casks used for maturation. Distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2014. 6,200 bottles were produced, each individually numbered. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 53.5%. (Bottle size 70cl)

*Chibidaru are similar to quarter casks, the difference being that while Scottish quarter casks are made by removing staves from regular casks, Chibidaru have shortened staves and are repurposed.
