DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Mortlach distillery in Speyside, bottled by Murray McDavid in their Mission Gold range. Distilled in 2008, matured for 14 years in an ex-bourbon hogshead before being finished for 4 years in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask from Bodegas Ximénez-Spínola, and bottled in 2026. Only 244 bottles produced. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at a cask strength of 54.3%. (Bottle size 70cl)

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Baked apple, waxy, dried apricot

Palate: Chewy malt, mellow toffee, peach

Finish: Brioche, stroopwafle, buttery spice
