DESCRIPTION

A small batch release from the Glenrothes distillery in Speyside, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in their Discovery range. Matured for 11 years in sherry casks. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Zesty Seville orange with cinnamon and clove spice. Stewed fruits, red berries, plum and cherries are complemented by nuances of milk chocolate.

Palate: Creamy, with cracked black pepper and dark forest fruits with warming spice. Orange marmalade comes to the fore, leading to roasted walnut and toasted oak.

Finish: Long lasting with lingering chocolate and orange.
