DESCRIPTION
Caorunn Scottish Gin is a small-batch, modern London Dry–style gin handcrafted at Balmenach Distillery in Speyside, Scottish Highlands, since 2009. Distilled in the world’s only working Copper Berry Chamber — a 1920s apparatus originally used to extract essential oils — it blends five hand-foraged Celtic botanicals (rowan berry, heather, bog myrtle, dandelion, and Coul Blush apple) with six classic gin botanicals: juniper, coriander seed, lemon peel, orange peel, cassia bark, and angelica root. Bottled at 41.8%. (Bottle size 70cl)
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Fresh, floral, and citrus-led with a slightly spicy aromatic lift.
Palate: Clean, crisp, and full-bodied; sweetly aromatic with balanced juniper and citrus.
Finish: Invigorating and long-lasting; refreshing, crisp, and slightly drying.
