DESCRIPTION

A limited edition collaboration between Ballindalloch and Sunday Times bestselling thriller author — and former Metropolitan Police hostage and crisis negotiator — John Sutherland. “The Castle” is Ballindalloch’s first lightly peated expression. Distilled in 2015 from unpeated barley, the whisky was matured in a selection of first-fill and second-fill bourbon casks, including some that previously held peated whisky. 2,400 bottles produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 50%.

Each bottle is accompanied by a copy of John Sutherland’s novel of the same name, a murder mystery set on the Ballindalloch Castle estate.
