DESCRIPTION

A single cask release from the Blair Athol distillery in the Highlands, bottled by independent bottler Berry Bros. & Rudd, a British wine and spirits merchant that dates back over 300 years to 1698, as part of their Glens & Valleys collection. Distilled in 2010, matured for 13 years including a finish in a sauternes wine hogshead, and bottled in 2023. Only 301 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 56.3%. (Bottle size 70cl)

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Ripe orchard fruits drenched in honey vie with vanilla, caramel and a subtle oak spice.

Palate: The palate tells a tale of complexity and refinement: stewed apples and peaches, softened by the sweet caress of Sauternes, dance with ginger warmth and a hint of nutmeg.

Finish: The finish is long and satisfying, leaving echoes of sweet fruit and luscious honey.
