DESCRIPTION

A limited release from the craft Daftmill distillery in the Lowlands. Produced from optic barley, distilled in 2009, matured for 15 years in a combination of 19 first-fill ex-bourbon casks and 1 Pedro Ximénez ex-sherry cask and bottled in 2024. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a higher "Fife Strength" strength of 56.3%. (Bottle size 70cl)

OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES

Nose: Undeniably Daftmill with a nose full of the tropical notes we look for and a rich sweetness.

Palate: The palate brings notes of barley sugar and malt, that we have come to enjoy from Francis's distillate.

Finish: A distinct sweet dark fruit uplift on the finish hinting of the light sherry touch. A deep, complex lengthy dram.
