Originally produced in 1968 as a Christmas gift to family and friends from George S. Grant, the bottling was re-named to 105, referring to its alcohol content in British proof (not the American proof which is double the ABV). Exclusively matured in sherry casks. (Although the label says 'cask strength' we are dubious as every bottle is, and has always been, bottled at 60%. That number is too consistent not to raise suspicion.) Bottled at 60%. (Bottle size 70cl)

Nose: Great depth, sherry. Creamy and nutty. Honey on toast, touch of smoky coffee.

Palate: Silken, spicy and peppery oak. Almond, praline, hazelnut, dried peels, fruity. Touch of Armagnac, hint of rancio perhaps?

Finish: Long, peppery and nutty.
