DESCRIPTION
A single cask release from the Inchgower distillery in Speyside, bottled by independent bottler Berry Bros. & Rudd, a British wine and spirits merchant that dates back over 300 years to 1698, as part of their Coast & Shores collection. Distilled in 2009 and matured for 14 years including a finish in a Pedro Ximenez sherry hogshead before bottling. Only 282 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 54.5%. (Bottle size 70cl)
OFFICIAL TASTING NOTES
Nose: Upon nosing, this whisky greets you with stewed plums, creamy tiramisu and a hint of fresh rhubarb.
Palate: The palate unfolds with a luxurious wave of sultanas and figs, interwoven with a spicy undercurrent of sweet cinnamon.
Finish: The finish is long and warming, where notes of toffee and oak linger above a sherried backbone.
