DESCRIPTION

A permanent expression from the Glasgow Distillery Company, first released in 2014 and billed as the first modern-day gin distilled in Glasgow. Distilled in small batches in “Annie”, a copper hybrid still, with eight botanicals: juniper, angelica root, liquorice, coriander seed, lemon peel, cassia bark, black peppercorn and rosemary. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Piney juniper with eucalyptus lift; floral-herbal rosemary and zesty lemon.

Palate: Bold juniper framed by citrus and savoury tones; black pepper spice with subtle liquorice for a rounded, balanced mouthfeel.

Finish: Long, smooth and dry; angelica, warm pepper spice and a gentle rosemary note lingering.
