DESCRIPTION

An official small batch release from the Edradour distillery in the Highlands, presented in an “Ibisco” decanter. Distilled in 2013 (with the youngest spirit produced on 7 September that year), matured for 11 years in ten ex-bourbon casks and bottled on 12 December 2024. Only 1,997 bottles produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 60%. (Bottle size 70cl)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Hints of lemon, peppermint and honey.

Palate: Intense, rich and substantial with dry fresh oak, vanilla and coconut. Adding water brings out fresh apple, mint, more honeyed vanilla and ripening gooseberries. The juicy texture in the mouth comes from the smallest traditional stills in Scotland.

Finish: Mellow and lingering with spicy tangerine and soft leather.

WB NOTES

Ibisco refers to this specific decanter shape. While not a term generally used by the public, Signatory (owners of Edradour) use it to distinguish these releases from their rather iconic decanter they use in their Cask Strength Collecton range.
